  Why I get out of bed every morning.

  because someone needs my help.. as a jw -- you can relate -- i truly believed that what everyone really needed was the kingdom hope and its eventual reality.

  you know, the hope that does not lead to disappointment.

  of course, if anyone needed practical help with a task or getting through some difficulty, most of us realized that was part of being a helpful and caring friend (or family member).. at nearly seventy years of age -- no, i didn't enter the promised kingdom in my healthful and vibrant youth -- my getting out of bed isn't so bad.

  Some may read that letter and feel that since its from 1992, surely they don't still feel this way...right?

  WRONG

  As of the last nasty JC I was on 11/2017 before stepping down.....NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I spent hours on the phone with the legal and service desks. Only reveal what you are legally obligated to so as to prevent repercussion$ to the ORG is the SOP.

  EMDR Therapy Anyone?

  two+ months into marital counseling for my wife (pimi) and i (pimo).

  wife after decades of marriage decides for the first time to bring up separation due to, drum-roll please...... absolute endangerment of spiritual life.

  a spouse may constantly try to make it impossible for the mate to pursue true worship or may even try to force that mate to break god’s commands in some way.

  Two+ months into marital counseling for my wife (PIMI) and I (PIMO). Wife after decades of marriage decides for THE FIRST TIME to bring up separation due to, drum-roll please.....

  Absolute endangerment of spiritual life. A spouse may constantly try to make it impossible for the mate to pursue true worship or may even try to force that mate to break God’s commands in some way. In such a case, the threatened mate would have to decide whether the only way to “obey God as ruler rather than men” is to obtain a legal separation.​—Acts 5:29.

  Does this make me angry? Yes. Not physically violent, not abusive emotionally. Internal anger that does not allow me to apparently understand the concept of her being in a cult and me not being in one and the two of us completely being able to co-exist with a normal measure of daily happiness.

  The therapist recommended EMDR therapy. Wife has promptly made me an appointment.

  Has anyone personally experienced this type of therapy?

  Hatred of Jews

  i have never understood the hatred and dislike towards jewish people.

  so many people are bothered by jewish influence.. do you have anti jewish bias?

  Recently had a public talk that referenced Jews. Went something like this:

  "to this day, world-renowned hatred exists for these people, and rightly so...for its Biblical! Friends please open with me in your Bibles to Exodus chapter 32 and we'll consider verses 9 and 10 together to see for yourself the reason for the hatred."

  No biggie and just a FYI: The videos were sent as a prep package to zone overseers, circuit overseers, as well as the 100's of elders who are working up the outlines in which these videos are to be shown. Just sayin.....

  i happen to be one of very few people who know of this condition that the man has.

  he had an accident several years ago with some power equipment.

  leviticus 21:20 commands that no man present the bread at the temple with damaged testicles... so?.
